Bathroom Job in Basement New Construction with Ejector Pump

This was a week long job for two carpenters. Most people think a tiny bathroom is an in and out job, and vastly underestimate the labor and skillset involved. This total demolition and reconstruction in a terrible basement bathroom included a 4″ topping and all new framing that is termite proof, with a vapor barrier to prevent moisture rising through the concrete. The rest of the basements floor will be coated with drylok, then we will install plastic shielded subfloor, then a new walking surface of the customers choosing. Wet basements are not easy to work with. They have to be dry in order to last. This bathroom remodel is almost complete but the whole house is far from finished. This job is scheduled for the next 3 months as a full gut.
