What is the rate for building wood decks and portico for my home front side?

You did not provide much detail. Some dimensions and pictures would help.

A typical wood deck is about $50 per square foot excluding professional fees (planning/permitting)

A typical small portico 100sf should be budgeted for $15,000 or about 150$ per square foot, again excluding professional fees.

Professional fees at about $5,000 extra on small projects like decks or overhangs.
